I’m back – with two books in the Bailey Summers Mysteries available on amazon and a third one in the works. And I am developing a new series – no details yet. Check in with me later.
It’s been a while – a whole year in fact –but my blog is back and so am I. I dealt with health issues last year so that meant finding time to work on the two books I had in the works and focusing on taking care of my health. Blogging and a few other activities went on hold
But I stuck it out and I am pleased to say I did publish those two books last year – yes the Bailey Summers Mysteries launched with Summers in San Somás and Summers in Wolf Falls. Set in 2000, these books focus on the adventures and mysteries unfolding for a Montreal journalist. These books take us to such exotic places as a fictitious Caribbean island and a village in northern Quebec. They also hint at a romance developing with her photographer Derek Carstairs. Hmm. Will they get together or not? You have to read the books to find out. No spoilers.
Good news. I am hard at work on book 3 in the series – Summers in the City. Back home in Montreal, her hometown, Bailey finds herself working to solve the mystery behind an attack on her father and a threat to the local artistic community. I was about to start work on that new series I mentioned earlier but Bailey elbowed her way in, told the new characters to get out of her way and proceeded to start dictating the first few chapters of her new book. So, who am I to argue?
